Who we are

Harper Latter Architects Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, number 13669979. Our registered office is 3rd Floor, 24 Old Bond Street, London W1S 4AP. Enquiries

When you use our enquiry form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), location or postcode (optional), project type (optional) and your message. We use them to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to prepare a proposal. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us about our services, or steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract. You do not have to use the form. You can phone or email us instead.

Your enquiry is sent through the Web3Forms form service, which acts on our behalf. Web3Forms processes it on our behalf and passes it to our office email. Its spam checks may send your IP address and email address to CleanTalk and Akismet. Web3Forms runs its service on Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner infrastructure. We also hold your enquiry in our office email.

We do not currently set an end date for deleting enquiries. You can ask us to delete your enquiry or exercise your other data protection rights by emailing us. We will consider each request under data protection law, including any exceptions that apply. If it leads to a project, we keep the project records for as long as we need them for the contract and for legal and insurance reasons.

Our newsletter sign-up appears on our journal articles and the journal page. We do not load the sign-up form until you click "Show the signup form". When it loads, our newsletter provider, MailerLite, receives your IP address and your browser stores an identifier from MailerLite in local storage. If you subscribe, we receive your email address and MailerLite holds it on our behalf.

Our legal basis for sending you updates is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing us. When you unsubscribe we stop sending you newsletters and keep a record that you unsubscribed so that we do not email you again. If you want your details deleted, email us and we will consider your request, including asking MailerLite to delete them. MailerLite says it permanently deletes a deleted ("forgotten") subscriber's information within 30 days.

Hosting and security

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details when you visit, so that it can deliver and protect the site. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Analytics and cookies

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies or tools on this site. The only item we know our own pages store in your browser is the MailerLite identifier described under "Newsletter", and only if you choose to load the sign-up form.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of our providers process personal data outside the UK. Their published terms say they rely on the standard contractual clauses with the ICO's UK Addendum (Web3Forms, MailerLite and Cloudflare) or, for some Cloudflare transfers to the United States, the UK-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and ask us to move it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email office@harperlatterarchitects.co.uk.
